 Conversion of Routemaster RML to Product Promotion Vehicle
This conversion of a Routemaster RML Bus (RML 2696) to a Tile & Bathroom Fitting Promotion Bus included repair & repainting.
On the Lower Deck new boxes were built along the sides to contain the pipework and electrics and to provide a surface for the tiling. The Victorian wall and floor tiles were laid by a professional tiler. The bathroom fittings supplied were installed by us - and the basin is fully functional.
The Upper Deck is styled like a Victorian parlour with deep padded seating and the display cabinets built in the form of sideboards.
All the cupboards were built and finished to a very high standard in our workshops. Victorian style carpeting was laid on both the Upper and Lower Decks to give it that authentic finish.
The completed bus has now been driven to Latvia and Moscow with logistics by our Operations division.
